That was your choice and you alone hold the answer to that.

My selection towards Premier scopes was based upon personally noting the big difference in performance especially in poor light conditions between Premier and NightForce scopes of which I have three NF scopes and also by the recent military contract with Premier scopes.

I did look at S&B but was put off by the higher price and the short mounting distance between scope rings that the S&B scopes allow because of that second turret on the left hand side of the tube plus there is no room for my anti-cant bubble level either because of that.

That aside and without getting into a heated debate I believe all three brands of scopes mentioned are at the top of the list as far as being the best scopes on the market along with Zeiss which have not been mentioned.
BTW: I also have Zeiss scopes on my rifles as well as Swarovski.

When comparing scopes that i would consider for my rifle, it must be great in low light conditions. My gun will be a meat gun first and a bench gun second. In my area of the country with the thick pine trees that border alot of feilds, it is very hard to make out the quality of the bucks that come in the food plot in low light. I dont shoot baby deer so if i cant tell exactly what im shooting at i wont shoot. This is the reason i will never own another Leupold. So if that was the main concern for you guys, what scope would you choose?

I have had two USO's for 15 years or so. One gave me problems a few years ago with
the lit reticle. They called me and said they didn't want to fix it do to not liking the old
design. I asked what they wanted to do then? Their reply, "We would like to build you
a new scope, what do you want on it?" All at no charge, I did get a few upgrades, some
at my request, some because they wanted to. I will never deal with another high end
scope company as long as they are around, no reason to.

That is just one of the reasons I use USO...... Great product and great company.

Now while I will admit that I do own a few USO Scopes and like them a lot, they aren't the only scopes I buy. Some other companys produce some very excellent optics. Here is an example on my old M70.
