I will be hunting coyotes with Tony Tebbe of Predator University next December on 900,000 acres of Coyote Heaven in NM and TX. I saw his booth at the World Predator Show last year in KC. I was really impressed. I am new to coyote hunting as you know and this is just the ticket to ramp up my learning curve on coyotes and other predators.
Len,
I didn't know you met Tony. I've never met him in person but I sure do like his calls. I have two, one is a custom "cow tip horn" open reed, and the other is a TT Overdose. They are very good calls and I have duped more than a few coyotes with them. The cow tip call makes an absolute killer high pitched pup in distress sound. I used it to call in 5 coyotes at once last winter on that ranch I took you to where the mosquitos ate us alive. I also had a friend by the name of Tim Hovey hunt with Tony last year and he had a great time. I expect Tony will do his best for you and give you a top quality hunt. Have to admit I'm envious.

I guess I should be a proud mentor. When I ment Tony at a Gun Show in Cedar Rapids Iowa years ago peddling predator calls they we'll really stunk. In fact I couldnt even get the ones he gave me to squeek.
After some talk about what he needed to do to get them up to par I left him my phone number. Later that fall Tony called me to go on a yote hunt. I was heading to Nebraska that weekend and I thought what a place to introduce what appeared to be new caller to the sport. That weekend he came along for his first western yote hunt and he was hooked real hard.
I continued to teach what I knew about locating and howling. We had good success. and many yotes were located and called in the sandhills a few years back. We went on a couple more trips to Nebraska and he honed his skills by observing me. In fact he took some videos of me calling in pairs on our first set.
Today he has a picture he loves and rightly so. Its one of one of the biggest males he ever shot, one I called in for him. In fact when I went to dispatch it by stepping on its side and suffocating it, the darn dog bit my boot.
Since that time I have taught many others the art and I continue to put on seminars here in Iowa. No charge just want to get more like Tony addicted.
