Hi,
As I am colour blind can you please tell me what colour the reicle is?
I hope it is black.Has the scope got clear optics? Does it stand up to recoil well? I have not seen one of these scopes in Australia hence all the questions. They would be a special order.
Thanks for your help.

hi hjl,
the retical is black, the optics are Very clear to my eyes .power range 4x12x42 comes with sun-shade and dust covers ,battery. its very well thought out and mounts very low to rifle, i mounted my friends on his 270wsm 1885 browning high-wall. new for 2008 burris is offering their balistic mil-dot retical this is another Very well thought out retical with even more advantage to the shooter/hunter. regards

Thank you for the reply.
I will have to save up for one of these.
The only improvement on these that I can think of is target turrets.
For my use I think the mil dot would work.
Regards.

I was gonna get a NXS, but maybe I'll hold off until the next generation computerized laserscope comes out.
Nah...it'd prolly be way too pricey for me.:p

I had a friend that was on a Match Sniper team for the National Guards unit he was in and he said he seen scope that would range and adjust at SHOT show back in the mid 90's and he said the price back then was around the $20,000 range.

I handled a few of these at different times. Looked and felt well made. Seemed to work well. nice glass.
For me, when I was looking at them, I wondered why they did not put paralax adjustment on a long range scope. I also would like to have seen Target Knobs.
I think this scope would probably be right at home on a sub 500? 600? yd rig depending on how much correction you would need. I assume they were thinking of the guys that would buy it to put on their 300 win mag or 338 win mag and wanted to take shots out to 500 on their elk trip.
I liked the mount set up.
