What Scope Mounting System to use?

I just purchased a new Savage F/TR .308 & new Leupold VIII 8.5-25x50m scope with the Varment Reticle. It's factory drilled and tapped only. It's my 1st long range rifle. Any and all input will be much appreciated. Thanks!
