Got this tom on the 1st, messed with him for 3 days until got it right. Taken at 20 steps with remington 870 12 guage with a load of #6's. Not the biggest bird out there, just that he made for a really nice hunt. 20 lbs with 10 in beard, with just over 1in spurs. Nice two year old bird.

Congratulations. I worked on a tom and the second day I got him to come in but he saw me start to slide the gun off the log and ran for it. All I managed was to shoot some leaves where he disappeared over the hill which made him fly an then I shot a pine tree and then a hickory tree.
