first turkey

shot my first turkey today me and the whipper snapper went to the ranch this morning to hunt hogs. when ryan and i got there we discover that the pigs had distroyed my 500 yd feeder which left only the feeder by the tank still up and running . we decided to fish instead and walk down to the tank as we were getting our pole ready i spied about 20 turkeys making there way over the levie towarg the feeder on the other side of the tank so i told ryan to sit tite while i made a stalk on them birds and i was able to get a small tom . what was surprizing was that the other turkeys where so busy beating up on the one i shot that i was able to walk almost right up to them before they took off ryan also caught some nice bluegills
