Fall Turkey

A friend and I went out this afternoon. Killed 7 in the first round, 3 in the second. I got my limit of 6 for my county. I am finished and happy.

I have made plans to go to the next county over and try to get 6 more. I will update this post after that hunt.

I am on the sneak attack plan. You ease into the woods and when you spot them, your buddy sets up on one end and you ease around to the other. It turns into to a game of turkey tennis. He shoots, they run to me. I shoot, they run to him. We didn't get them all as there were about 40 in that flock. There were about 20 in the second flock and I killed 3 in it.

Similar to busting them up. I like the idea never thought of this. It sounds solid for a fall hunt.
