Hog clotheslines him self

This had to be the strangest hog kill I have ever seen.

After completing a disappointing sesson of load testing at the range I was
leaving and near the exit gate when I spotted about 25 hogs running very
fast across this field headed in my direction.

I stoped the truck to watch and could not believe what happened.

There were 3 large hogs in front of about 20 smaller (80 To 100 lbs pigs).

The first two made it through the barbed wire fence but the third one
wasen,t so lucky.

They were running with there mouths open and the third one caught the
bottom strand in the mouth.

He performed a 2 and 1/2 back summer sault hitting the ground in the left
lane in front of me .

He laid there squealing and kiking and even though I doint like hogs very
much I doin,t like seeing an animal suffer so I parked the left front wheel
of my 3/4 ton truck on his shoulder and put the cou de grass on him (We are
not allowed to shoot any thing except paper at the range).

When he expired I checked him out and he had broken his neck.

(But he did have a very large smile on his face from the barbed wire)>

Wow J E - that's something you won't forget.

What's the terrain like where you live -real brushy i'd guess -how far south do you go until it starts getting into the desert look?

Mike, J E is at the lease. Yes, we have mostly dense brushy cover and hardwood forest. About 50-100 miles south and west of here the terrain starts to open up some and gets drier. The hogs thrive anyway.
