Camera Land's Deal of the Day 6/13/2013

In continuing on with our "Deal of the Day" promotions we will be including items that we have been running greatly discounted, sold out and then managed to get more for our inventory. Today's item is that situation. We worked with Zen-Ray to get a fantastic deal on their ZEN-RAY - ZEN ED2 - 20-60x82mm Angled Spotting Scope which sells for $1199.99, however, with the deal we were able to work out we have it for only $869.99. This is a wonderful opportunity on a high quality spotter.
After buying all of Zen-Rays remaining inventory on this spotter & selling out of those we were able to have them make another run of them for us. This is your chance to get one of these great scopes

ZEN-RAY - ZEN ED2 - 20-60x82mm Angled Spotting Scope is designed and manufactured to deliver the performance that is normally available from products 1.5x-3x more expensive. Featured with extra low dispersion glass, oversized prism system, fully broadband multi-coated optics, ZEN ED2 spotter is for the most serious birders and hunters who expect nothing but the best image resolution, extreme low light brightness, and edge-edge sharpness without distortion. The ZEN ED2 is lightweight thanks to the rugged compact magnesium alloy body.

Re: Camera Land's Deal of the Day 6/13/2013

I love Cameraland, usually the best deals around. I have bought 5 or 6 scopes in the last 2 months. This week there was an error in the billing and I was charged twice and I am still waiting for a resolution.

If you order online and are shipping to another address other than the one noted on the card, it will accept your order but no confirmation will be sent. I called and they indicated that if the address's dont match it wont process the order. I called and palced the order over the phone and the scope was shipped. But the first order did in fact get charge and funded.

I am sure they will resolve it, but if you are ordering as a gift and shipping to another address, call them directly.

Re: Camera Land's Deal of the Day 6/13/2013

I just received an e-mail from a member here that read:

"FYI , there is a man accusing Cameralandny of fraud on longrangehunting.com"

Let me explain the way the charge process on our site, and I am sure many others out on the web, works.

When an order is placed, and a credit card is the payment method is a credit card, the automated system (which is closed btw so even we do not have access to the credit card info) gets an authorization for the amount being charged. Then if an authorization is granted the next step is the address varification to make sure the billing and shipping address is a match to prevent fraud. If there is a match then the charge is completed. If it is not a match then the charge is never put thru (as was the case in the above post by N. and this was explained to him) and depending on the card holders bank, the authorization only expires in 24-72 hours. It is never " in fact get charge and funded" unless it is a match and the transaction is completed.
If there are ANY questions all you have to do is call us. I think we have been around long enough for the members here to know that we are not some shady fly by night outfit.

BTW, Happy Father's Day to all.
