Old savage owner

I am new to this forum, but a long time savage owner and shooter. Now that i am retired, i have more time for shooting and hunting, if not more money. I just brought a savage axis in 30-06 left hand. Shoots like a dream. Shot a hog in ga with it in jan2013. One shot one kill, dropped where it stood. I hope later to get my wife a 243. We both hunt and she wants her own bolt action in a lghter caliber.
