Really enjoyed our vacation on the Garden Island some years ago.
Thought about moving but the hunting is better here in Colorado

Spent some time in HI myself at Schofield Barracks on Oahu. Managed to make it to all the islands while I was there for 3 years including some time at PTA on the Big Island. Got to say that Molakai was my fave, only place I saw a deer in the 3 years I was in the Army. What kind of Long Range opportunities are there on the BI if any that don't require a guide or private lands? I've got friends that own land on the north shore of BI and they have pigs, but I'm curious if there are other critters about to hunt there. Might make an interesting vacation one of these days.
