Humble TX newbie here....

Afternoon all.. I am very new to long distance shooting. Picking up my first M40A5 from Tactical Rifles in Florida soon.. Hopefully end of Jan... I am looking for places to get out to some distance in the Houston area, or anywhere in Texas. Carters Country is nice, with the 17 HMR, but I think i will be getting bored real fast with the .308. I am also looking into getting into reloading ammo. I work overseas in the sandbox and I get home for 30 days at a time, and I like to make the most of that time. So if anyone cares to mentor a newbie in long range drop me a line. Now mind ya, not new to guns, just the long gun.

    Welcome to Long Range Hunting.

Sounds like you've got a pretty busy schedule.

We've got a lot of members in Texas so I'll bet somebody can help you out.
