Howdy,

I've been gathering info from this site for several weeks. Looking for a caliber to shoot long range. Decided in a 6.5x284. Yesterday I picked up a Savage 111 and put a counter sniper scope on it.

I've done plenty of 1000 yd., using black powder cart. and wanted to try something new.

Wife also wants to get involved so after getting this rifle up and running, I'll be looking to set something up for her. All suggestions will be appreciated.
