Checking in from NC

Lurking here for a little while. Really have enjoyed the information so far. Have been hunting for 35+ years but would like to be able to stretch my game out a bit. Really appreciate those responsible for having this forum here to share information. Looking forward to additional learned knowledge here.

Regards, Matt

Re: Checking in from NC

Thanks Dick, really appreciate it!

I have a new rifle on the way (will post up when I get it in my hands), so I'll be looking at longer range tips on the board after I get it to the range. I don't think I'll be looking to go 800-1000 yards like some here, but confident and competent at 300 and maybe then even 4-500 with some practice. Never felt I could take ethical shots much past 200 with my current rifles.
