300 rum hart 26"barrel sendero

I have never used a brake. just building a 300 rum Do different brakes contribute to accuracy in any way? If I were to paint barrel with a brake installed (painting over the seam), would I have any issues (as far as proper cleaning needed on the brake or other problems) if it was permanantly painted onto the barrel? Thanks
