Re: UN after our guns
Its unfortunate that so many people have become so complacient, and have that ''its all good'' ''nobody in washington is hurtin me where I live'' attitude.
I do vote. AND I thank each and every soldier, past and present, for protecting my freedoms, and securing my right to vote. Lets pray folks will wake up, and do the right thing, and VOTE instead of being lead around by the teeth by the politicians who like to make us think we live in a fairytail world where no evil will ever get us if we put all our faith in our govt. They(politicians) need to have faith in AMERICA, and everything in our constitution that made this country great. Not handi cap us by being part of a useless and disfunctional buerocracy(the un). I am a voter, and I will do my part. I hope and pray other concerned AMERICANS do the same.

The individual states are in the process of telling the United States Federal government to pound sand when it comes to enforcing Federal Gun laws.
Montana has taken the lead by envoking the 10 amendment. Their new law states that guns and ammo made in Montana that stays in Montana will not be regulated in any way by the Federal government. Not only that if the Feds send in the BATF Montana has said they will arrest the agents and throw them in jail and prosecute them. I do believe that the penality is 3-5 years in prision and a stiff fine for any federal agent that interfers with a citizen in Montana who is complying with Montana gun law. There are more than 19 states with similar laws on the books or are in the process of passing similar legislation. The UN can fuck off.

Re: UN after our guns
Hey Eaglesnester, how do you find out , or rather , where do you look to find out if your state has put these types of laws into legislation? Very curious about Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Un fortunately, Or. and Wa. are part of the ''left coast'', thanks to a large population base in a small area(Portland/Eugene, and Seattle/Tacoma) but Im holding out hope since the vast majority of both states are the polar opposite of the inner cities. Idaho is just plain cool, and doesnt seem to fold on issues like these, but I was just curious as to where we can find this enlightening, and inspirational information.
Montana, my hat's off to you once again! I miss Montana, and now I have another reason to miss it.

Go to firearmsfreedomact.com you can get the whole story there. I am a US expat living in Canada and I pay attention to US gun law. I currently have a law suit going against the United States Attorney General Eric Holder. He has seen fit to prevent me from purchasing firearms in the United States because I simply do not have a US address. I did not know that my second amendment rights could be suspended simply because I do not have a US address. That is total bullshit and I aim to put a stop to it. My handle (Eaglesnester) says it all.

Re: UN after our guns
Some clarifaction here. Montana and New Hampshire have passed laws making it a class 3 felony for any federal agent enforcing federal gun laws within their states.

+1 I agree 100% with everything winmag has in this post!!
If you look at my signature it is a quote from a hard core evangelist . I herd him say that when the towers fell in sept 11 he had a recruting officer come to his home and he told the officer that he has two sons and that he told them that if war breaks out and they have to go that if it has a pamper on its head to blow its head off. Then he looked the officer in the eyes and said my sons will never swear in to that UN flag ! He said that he's not swearing in to protect countries that would cut our throats if they could get by with it !!
