A Request for Congressional Investigation Into The Ammunition Shortage

Sorry fellas, I am just not buying the story being told to us by ammunition manufacturers that we are responsible for the shortages due to 'panic buying'. These are the folks getting the big fat government contracts for their goods. It's obvious that ammunition and it's components are being controlled and manipulated. The trickle of merchandise we are seeing on the shelves is just a smokescreen. I do not trust anyone in the governments pocket to care for my best interest.

So I wrote my Congressman, again. Just another crazy old man seeing things.... but one who has seen way too much to be silent and placated. I refuse to go quietly into the dark night of governmental suppression and oppression.

What I wrote to Virginia Congressman Randy Forbes today:

Good Day Congressman,

While this does not pertain per se to Government Reform, it does concern government oversight.

I'm not sure if you have been monitoring the extreme shortages of all types of rifle, handgun and shotgun ammunition and reloading supplies that is occurring, and has been occurring NATIONWIDE since the beginning of Emperor Obama's second reign. ALL sources of hunting, home protection, recreational ammunition and supplies NATIONWIDE have all but vanished from not only the stores but also almost all internet outlets as well. While the initial shortages could somewhat be attributed to the panic buying by Americans in the face of suspension of our 2nd amendment rights by the Emperor and his court, the time has long passed for the initial panic surge to have subsided.

There are drastic similarities between the present shortages of reloading supplies and components and the repression of rights which led to the confrontation of the British forces, under the direction of Gov. Gage and the Crown aka 'The Administration', and the citizens opposing the confiscation of their guns and gun powder, aka 'The Minutemen' at the Concord bridge. (By the way have you been there, stood there and felt the sense of overwhelming patriotism and commitment of the Patriots in the air there? I have. A very heady and sobering experience sir. Take your staff and go to the Yorktown battlefield. Have one of your staff research and brief everyone before you depart. Then go and stand on the field where American Citizens fought, died, and won the freedoms we enjoy and are rapidly loosing. Stand quietly looking at the opposing lines of battle, their proximity, and realize the brutality they faced only yards away. Technology was a bayonet, armor was a tunic, fire power was a brown bess musket, medical care was a torn shirt bandage or an amputation. America was born on the blood drenched fields of Yorktown. Thomas Jefferson dug the trenches which resulted in the defeat of Redoubt 4. Go there, sir, stand on their ground and realize next time the battlefield will not be as confined and tidy as the one beneath your feet. The devastation and loss will be unimaginable.)

Apparently history is repeating itself. With the 'administrations' defeat of gun control means had to be found to control the American will to fight when again oppressed by the government. Again 'gunpowder' is the tool of this control. Time has come and gone for the alleged 'shortage'. It is apparent that ammunition and components are being controlled and manipulated. To what means? To suppress the populace's ability to defend itself against an oppressive, subversive and covert Marxist/socialist overthrow of the republic by the administration and the UN.

I am requesting that you initiate an investigation, via the Department of Justice, the Department of Commerce, and the FBI of these actions, of the shortages, and where it has originated in the government.

Congressman, there is more to this than meets the eye. I can understand temporary regional shortages however, a NATIONWIDE prolonged shortage is alarming and frightening.

I'm sure this is being read by others, so to those of you out there... shame on you.

By the way I am by no means a conspiracy theorist. I only see what is there and connect the dots. Perhaps others should also.

Respectfully,

Bruce Burnett

Bruce, great letter and hopefully you'll get some response, although I just cannot put my faith into politicians any more. It simply amazes me that these folks just keep on getting elected. NO ONE is looking out for your welfare---it is simply all about them, always was and always will be.

IMO, it will never happen. It's the way it is. Obama wants that. What HBO wants, he usually gets....

So we just roll over and let the tyrant have his way? If our forefathers had that attitude, we'd still be colonies under British rule...

This country was founded through revolution and it may just take another to save it.

Won't happen because today, you can't get 2 people to agree on anyrhing. The other aspect is, pro firearm people are a distinct minority in this country.

Re: A Request for Congressional Investigation Into The Ammunition Shortage

Bruce,

Good to hear from you again! Great letter by the way! I want to hear what you hear back as well.

I am not sure what the hell is going on in our nation right now, as a whole, but I can tell you that I do not like it. There have been some good points made in this post, and in others.

I am not willing to accept that WE cannot change what is going on right now. I wonder at what point WE will break, one way or the other.

I do know that I am not going to have my son and daughter grow up in the nation that we are headed toward becoming.

For now I will continue to write my congressmen and senators...I'm not going to give up on a system that has worked for a couple hundred years.

In my opinion we need term limits...We need becoming a government official to return to a civic duty rather than a career. We need to have these people understand that their position is for the betterment of their constituents, rather than a power trip.

Until that changes we are going to continue to suffer IMHO.

Joe
