The media misinformation and scare tactics...What a pile of crap! Sadly, there will not be any retractions or apologies made about the attacks on assault rifles.

Thanks for the link!

Pass it around guys!! They won't report so we need to make a stink like they did. There will be more but we will have to dig for it.

Re: Firearm regulation and the Constitution

I brought this very same thing up a few weeks ago actually I think it may have been with sidecarflip that an Ar was never used but it was in the trunk. That came out hours after the shooting by the next day he used an Ar. The freakin media makes me sick. Lucky for them they have the 1st Amendment to hide behind. Can't wait to see if this new info comes out. I'm not bettin on it.

Re: Firearm regulation and the Constitution

There is no doubt in my mind that Obama has always fully intended to advance his gun control agenda. He is a master manipulator and spent his first term setting the stage for this attack on the 2nd Amendment, America in general, and everything that has made this country great.

Look back to his responses when questioned about gun control. He never gives direct full answers. He was, and still is, trying to back door us through the UN Small Arms Treaty. He does not believe in our Constitution except when it serves his purpose.

This is a hunting site, and many here may feel that they don't have a dog in the fight. But you do. We need to stand together, the hunter, the plinker, the competitive shooter, the collector, etc. all need to be busy writing our elected officials, joining & supporting the NRA, GOA, NAGR and even more importantly talk to your friends & family members about what's going on. Especially those that don't hunt or shoot. There are only +/- 50 million gun owners in the US,
that means there are in the neighbor hood of 230 million potential gun owners out there, and we need to educate and recruit as many as we can.

They might only be talking about black rifles, semi-autos, and 'high' capacity rounds now, but that can change quickly, especially if they have any success with the current proposed controls. It's happened in many other countries across the globe. Let's not let it happen here.

Re: Firearm regulation and the Constitution

From the NRA this morning in my in box......

"The Obama administration is seeking to institute a far more sweeping gun-control agenda than simply reinstating the failed Clinton bans on "assault weapons" and "high-capacity" magazines.

While the administration seeks to ban whole classes of firearms, a working group led by longtime gun control supporter Vice-President Joe Biden is also seriously considering proposals for a national registration database to track the movement and sale of all firearms, and much more. (Please see related story on congressional proposals below.)

After meeting with gun ban activists on Wednesday, Biden said, “This is a problem that requires immediate attention. I want to make clear that we’re not going to get caught up in the notion that, unless we can do everything, we’re going to do nothing. It's critically important that we act."
Biden went on to open the door to the option of imposing restrictions unilaterally.
"The president is going to act," said Biden. "There are executive orders, executive action that can be taken. We haven’t decided what that is yet. But we’re compiling it all with the help [of] the attorney general and all the rest of the Cabinet members as well as legislative action we believe is required."

When it comes to attacking our Second Amendment rights, this administration will pull out all the stops.
These proposed actions are not simply another rehash of old, failed strategies. This is an all-out attack on the Constitution and the rule of law. This is about the wholesale destruction of gun rights in this country. This is about destroying everything the NRA has done over the last 20 years. The gloves are off and we need to face the challenge squarely—RIGHT NOW—EVERY ONE OF US! Every gun owner, every freedom-loving American--whether an NRA member or not--needs to take action. Gun sales have gone through the roof, but buying guns is not a political strategy. If you've just bought guns, magazines and ammo, now you need to invest the time in doing what it takes to keep them."

Maybe it's time to consider IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS.

Obama is an elected official. Being an elected official, he can be removed from office for not upholding the laws of the land. This (on Tuesday) will be a clear case of just that, if, he directly attacks the Constitution. Who the hell is this guy anyway?

The choices will be clear on Tuesday, not only for firearm owners but for the entire nation. Always keep in mind, this isn't just about firearms, it's about the very foundation this country was built on the Constitution....

Obama is desireous of nullifying the Constitution and running the country his way, the Socialist way......

He always has been, now he has the vehicle to advance his Socialist agenda.

It's very alarming what we (as a country) have digressed to.....

This isn't about 'winning' or 'loosing'. It's about preserving our freedoms that our forefathers wisdom granted us as American Citizens.

STAY FOCUSED
