$1 Billion in Ammo Tossed

Yea, I have hard time believing the Feds are not helping in keeping the store shelves low in ammo and the manufacturers strained when they are pulling crap like this....

Re: $1 Billion in Ammo Tossed

This is nothing new, They've been doing this for yrs. In fact I have bought pull down 8208 40 lbs at a time, to shoot in my 6PPC and shot very well with it. Though the wars have put a stop to that lately. The best powder came from the 5.56 Nato tracers as it was a bit hotter and would give Benchrest shooters more velocity.

Re: $1 Billion in Ammo Tossed

I think your "nothing new" is my problem...

No one is accountable for anything and when it comes to ammo, it does have a pretty good shelf life when stored properly, so, I'm confused about why the disposal of the ammo they have but they want to buy billions for DHS, BLM etc and depts that really even shouldn't be armed like they are and other departments that don't even use the rounds near like the Military?......

The oversight is terrible and appropriations are chaotic.
