What wine do you like with game?

I tend to like Pinot for most game meat (Elk, Deer, Antelope). It doesn't overpower the subtle flavors of the meat.

Mostly Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Merlot, Zinfandel, Syrah, Bordeaux, Pinot Noir and red blends.

Malbec's from Argentina, hands down best red to have with game IMO.

BlackTower for wine, or one bottle of beer Moosehead, of sampaine to add when cooking.

beer and sampaigne makes the meat more tender, and the wine changes the taste.
