Tent Help

Me and a couple of buddies backpack in for elk every year. I am need of a tent. We usually have 3 guys and the other two split a small 3 man so i sleep by myself. Last year i used a small two man my mountain hardware ok but wasnt quite what i wanted. Any suggestions? I want small 2 so i have extra room for gear. Looking for something 3 pounds or so. Thanks. Any other gear choices would be helpful as well.

Blacktail -go to Backcountry Gear Limited is your online source for lightweight backpacking, climbing and hiking equipment. they sell some nice 4-season tents -you can read over the specs and such there.

Do you hunt early or late season ?

Look at the hennessy hammocks --way comfortable from what i read.
Get a small lightweight tarp to cover your gear -equinox- has some very good and affordable tarps- MRE, colloidal silver, water filter, survival gear has good prices..

Bibler I-tent.

Black Diamond Equipment, Ltd. - I-Tent

4 lbs. 5 oz. for a tent that can survive (and has) anything. This tent is legendary in expedition mountaineering circles.

3 lbs. for a strongly built small two man tent is alot to ask. Good luck.

Not exactly a tent, but it is for all seasons and only weighs 3#3oz.
