The wolf when field dressed if a small one wouldn't be a problem. Skinned also no problem. One goat could easily carry a wolf hide.
Now the griz is a different story. You would need lotsa goats to pack that one out.

I'm no in griz country but I figure the goats may make a good attractant.
In your case I'd use nothing less than a 375 somethin' or other for what ever I was hunting, if I had a string of goats along.
Also, when the goats get excited or frightened, guess with whom they rapidly congregate.
You'll be the center of attention for all other parties involved.
I figured I'd use Louisiana Catahoula's as bear protection until I learned that the dog would tease the bear right to me.
They worked great for cattle though.
