Heres another one to consider.

This is the M3 Mcmillan tactical model.

I tried the packs you speak of and found they just lost there shape and lacked the organisation I was personally looking for.

They also I felt struggled with a long gun. This pack lets me carry the rifle butt down and all but the barrel forward of the bipod is protected. I found that when you are muzzle down most packs struggle not to be top heavy with a long barrel.

See pics.. This pack is worth every cent.

How fast can you get the gun out? Can you grab the barrel and lift the gun out fast?

I was at Sportsmans todays looking at those packs. I am 6'4" and 275lb. Most packs dont fit me. The waste belt is mid belly. The company you guys are talking about make one called something like the all in one. That pack fit me very well but it was a large pack.

I was really impressed with the quality of these packs. Any suggestions for a big and tall guy?

rvt900 - hello. i'm 6'08"/280 and i went with the J107M and ordered the larger belt which fits perfectly. I used it on a deer hunt 2 weeks ago and it performed excellent.

The way I use it is not very practical to lift the gun out quickly for snap shots. I simply pack the 15 lbs gun with it. Safe as houses mate !
