Anyone have a Tikka "Super Lite"?

You are a wise man! I shoot a custom 7MM STW for long distance, but I am amazed that my T3 in .300 WSM will shoot neck & neck with it our to 600 yards. It might do better at even longer range if I had the scope I needed to keep pushing it beyond that distance. I shot a 5/8" 5-shot group at 200 meters prone from my bipod a few months ago.

I would also love to hear how the new version does.

Well, I sold my blued T3 Lite and am scraping together more money to get the Super Light. Still looking for firsthand info, reviews, etc. if anyone has anything to share

I have a Super Light in 300 win mag. that I picked up a month or so ago. I've only got about 30 rounds through it so far. With Prvi Partizan 180grn and some Federal 180 grn cartridges I'm getting a around 1"@100yds. Thats shooting off my backpack. I think with some premium ammo or the handloads I'm working up I should get those groups tighter.

This is my first Tikka, so I can't compare to the regular T3. I am running a limb-saver on mine, and the recoil isn't bad at all, imho.

I'm just getting up to speed with mine, but let me know if you have any questions and I'll try to answer them.

I weighed my Super Light from Cabela's (300 Win Mag) and its 5 pounds 14 ounces using a calibrated scale. IIRC my blued, standard Lite in 300 Win Mag was 6 pounds 6 ounces. So an 8 ounce difference between the Super Lite and standard Lite. Every ounce counts in the mountains and canyons.

$800 is worth it.

$2700 would equate to $262.50 per ounce in weight savings.
