Is it possible to tell what year a shotgun was made by the stock?

I was told the stock is high grade black American walnut and the stock has the Fleur de lis on it and that made it special in some way. The last time a stock was offered like this was on the 100th Anniversary wingmaster. I actually listed the stock on Ebay and actually has a few hits. Ill be happy to just make back the $100 I spent on the shotgun itself. Maybe ill get more which will fund my scope for my 7mag
