12 ga. vs. 20 ga.

I've narrowed my choices of slug guns down to an H&R Ultra Slug Hunter. I can't decide whether to go with a 12 gauge or a 20 gauge. I'll will be using this only for deer hunting. Is one more accurate than the other? Will I run the risk of losing a deer because of less knock-down power with the 20 gauge, or does it have plenty?

The 20 gauge has plenty of power, but there are more slug choices for the 12 gauge to choose from.
