A new 6x47 by 308nate Sweeeeeet!

Just had a customer pick up a rifle Nate finished this morning...I sure have a soft spot for 6x47's. I had to snap some pictures before it left. It sure is a handsome piece of equipment.....

Here's the run down too.....

The superb quality of a Phoenix action.
PTG bolt with mini m16 extractor, .062 firing pin with a "bouncy" GT spring
Tigged on handle with helix cam machined to match action.
Broughton 7.3 twist, 28" barrel beautifully spiral fluted by Karl Kampfeld.
a stunning McMillan A-5 in 60 tan, 20 olive and 20 black.
Seekins 20 MOA base
Seekins recoil lug
Seekins detachable mag system
Remington trigger, super sweetly tuned to 1.5 lbs.
A Brilliant IOR 6-24 scope
Pillar bedding by SSG
Flat dark earth tan coating by SSG
All gunsmithing done by SSG

The went out and shot it this afternoon and it shoots as good as it looks sub 3" @ 600 yds for the first three shot group out of the barrel!

That is one good looking gun! Looks like Nate has been pretty busy lately!
I should be hitting the range with mine next weekend I can't wait.
