My .270 WSM Rem 700

Just seeing if I can get this pic to work.

Rem 700 .270 WSM
HS Precision Stock
Vortex HSLR 6-24x50 FFP

Getting a Talley 20 MOA rail teflon painted to match and putting Burris XTR rings on it.

Great looking rifle! What ammo do you use, and how does she shoot?

Thanks. It doesn't have a nice custom barrel or anything special done on it but I like it. Mostly factory Remington 700 with a little trigger work done and lugs lapped. Replaced the stock and had it teflon coated.

I shoot 140 grain Berger VLDs with 64.3 grains of IMR 7828ssc behind it. It shoots pretty good, probably better than I can shoot it. Right before I took that picture I killed a 12" rock at 1024 yards.

Sounds like you've got one heck of a nice factory rifle if you're killing 12" rocks at 1000+ nice work.

I want to upgrade the barrel on it sometime but can't justify it right now. It shoots pretty good as it is.

All that matters is how the bullets fly out of the barrel. I'll take an accurate factory barrel any time. And a fancy custom barrel doesn't come with any guarantees.
