Model 70 in the field

Winchester Model 70 Coyote, .300 WSM, Jewell trigger, Badger 20 moa base, 4.5-14x Vari-X III refitted with M1 knobs. It's proving to be a nice setup, but still needs to be blooded!

Nice looking stick Guy, The first blood is always the hardest. I carried a new hunting knife 3 years before it finally got to gut a deer.

Do you make it out this weekend? Those pics of your last weekend looked like a great place.

Re: Model 70 in the field

Naw, I was out there Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Family stuff kept me from getting back out. Doubt I'll be able to make any more of the "high buck hunt" this year. It's over in a few days and my time is pretty well spoken for. Phooey.

Still, it was good getting out for a few days and a couple of moonlit nights in the North Cascades!
