338 Edge on the Koyukuk

This weekend I'll be over 1k; next weekend shooting the mile. That's the plan, but I may be stopped due low water in the river. Here's my pet:

M70 Classic Stainless action, squared & trued
Hart 30" BR1000 barrel
Magnum 4-Port Muscle Brake
Near Alphamount base and rings
Premier Heritage 5-25x56 Gen II Mildot
Manners T5A stock
Jewel trigger
HD cups
Both shoulder sling from Len
Atlas bipod
Wyatt's magazine
USO level

Its intended use is mainly along and on the river and so far its exceeded my expectations. I hope to shoot up to its capabilities so I try and shoot 18 rounds every other day.

Nice rifle. What does "along and on the river" mean?
