Re: Idaho goat hunt

Nice goat! I'm hoping to draw a mountain goat tag in Utah one of these years.

nice goat. Congrats, thats a hard tag to draw. some day I hope I draw. Ive glassed them while on elk hunts. They are very agile on the tops of the rock cliffs.

Re: Idaho goat hunt

Thanks all for checking out my story. Steep Slope, I got very lucky in the draw and on the hunt. It's impressive to me every time I see goats as they seem to be just milling around but get from end of a basin to another in a blink. I'm settling in to wait out a sheep tag in the Frank Church now. Good luck in the draw.

Great story and pics and what a wonderful area to hunt. Hunted there my whole life and scene a lot of goats....but very unforgiving territory. Some day soon i'll start putting in and hope to score on a goat like u did.
