Bavarian Stag

Last OCT I was blessed to find this ancient stag at 200m through the morning mist. As an American Soldier stationed in Germany experiencing the hunting culture of my host country has been a truly incredible opportunity of a life time. Rifle: Remington 700 DM 30.06 165 Nosler partition with Leupold VX-R 4-12x50 30mm.
Thanks for looking.

Nice animal. I have watched several hunts from other countries and seen some of their hunting rituals or as you stated culture. I always thought they were cool. There seems to be a take over of the American culture by the hunting video whooping and hollering. We have all seen the fist pumping chest beating "That's what I am talking about" camera foolishness. I hope the younger generations don't continue this but relize that the show they are watching is a commercial for the next gimmic item the host is selling.
