Thanks. It is a lot more challenging for sure. Here we have a female quota so you have to be careful to not shoot one if it is closed. I have glassed 23 cats, if memory serves me right, the past few years. This is the 2nd cat I thought was a shooter. The rest were females with kittens or juvenile cats.

Hound hunting is pretty cool though. The guys usually just take pictures and let them go. Fun to watch those dogs work. Just not my style of hunting.

    Some people love bear and cat meat. I am not a fan of either. Probably a mental block for me.

    I don't care for bear, although I've heard some say cat is really good. Have never had the chance to try it. Nice cat by the way.

    Thanks guys. Idaho. Kind of a cool deal for me, as it had a couple of firsts:

    First cat.
    First kill with my LR rig.
    First kill over 320 yards.

    I really enjoy the depth of difficulty of spot and stalk hunts so this one makes the $1000 to rug it worth it. LOL
