2013 Mtn Lion

My first cat. We have hound hunters that we call upon any time we wish but I like spot and stalk. Cat numbers are way down and this is the only one have glassed this year. He seemed large enough to shoot at. Wound up being 600 yards.

Didn't weigh him. Had to skin and pack out. Length nose to tail is 7' 2". Going to be up the wall next to these two when I figure out how to arrange things. The cat is 1" longer than the wolf.

Move the wolf pelt as far over to the corner as it will go, put the elk in the middle and the Mtn. Lion pelt can go on the other side of the elk with both the wolf and Mtn. Lion pelt angling up towards the elk like the wolf pelt is?

BTW...that is pretty awesome how you hunt those lions. Spot and stalk on those has to be pretty darn tough! Congrats!
