Scott: Great article! Haven't been hunting for a long time due to illness. Last time I went the E-call, an old Johnny Steward tape player took a dump. Tried fixing it locally, no dice. I notice that in the article you mention 'Fox Pro'. I also notice in the catalogues, they're the most expensive, up to $600. I talked with the Cabelas people and they swear by them. I don't mind spending the bucks, but I want an easy to use, reliable, 'last forever' that is worth the money. With the old tape models, I had great selection of sounds and plenty of time to play, but of course dust, bouncing around etc. ate tapes. With the new digital models, do you get a good selection of sounds and enough time to play? I'm really into crow hunting along with the dogs and sometimes the crows are at the limit of vision so you have to play long and loud. Most of my dog hunting has been in the desert and they come from 360 so having the call some distance away is great, they don't end up in your lap, so the remote feature is desirable. Thanks for your help. Alias.
