Re: 338 Edge - History And Development by Shawn Carlock

Are the cartridge dimensions the same as the 338 Imperial? I have reamers for the 338 Imperial, 375 Canadian Magnum and a 300 RUM Match reamer. Can I use the 338 Imperial to chamber my new barrel for the 338 Edge?

Shawn,
Good read..

In the article you write For extreme use applications the Mauser styled bolt release/blade ejector and the M16 extractor made for the most robust combo.

Im curious what kind of Mauser styled action you prefer to work with?

It seems most gunsmiths dont like to deal with a Masuer style for a precision firearm. I still like em and prefer it.

Thanks,
