Tyler, sorry for your problem. Take a look at your subscription list and see if you can unsubscribe to all unwanted threads in your user cp. Let me know how it works out.

Yeah me too. I get an email every time I post or someone else posts. I have 17 pages of crap in my profile and cant delete any of it. I didnt subscribe to anything. And I sure dont want a dang email everytime someone posts. If i want an email to read I wouldnt come to the forums and read all the mis-posted crap there. How do I get rid of this spam emails??? With all the new turkey hunters here and the new forums that have NOTHING to do with LRH the ol place is goin downhill fast, and these spam emails are just adding to the problems on this site.

silvertip-co

I checked and found that your "preference" was set for "instant email notification"

I changed it to "do not subscribe"

I am curious, how much time do you spend actually reading the Turkey forum as well as the other new ones that you don't like? Is it really that difficult for you to just ignore the existence of those forums?

Subscribing to every 'new' post/thread happened suddenly without any action on my part at about the same time everyone started belly aching.

It turns out that I kind of like it and left it that way.

I guess I'll thank the gremlins......

Re: Somehow I'm subscribing to every thread?

I change it to unsubscribe, but I'll get random e-mails that subscribe me back to the thread somehow. Like this thread sent me two e-mails today after none for a while.

Re: Somehow I'm subscribing to every thread?

Tyler, sorry. I see that you are "subscribe but no notification"

Why don't you try setting it to no notification of any kind and then manually subscribe when you want to on a particular thread. See if that works.
