So why do my subscribed threads appear to be updated (unread) when no-one has posted
I have noticed over the last several days that I may get 5 or 10 updates to my subscribed threads, but when I go to take a look, no-one has posted anything ? Whats up with that ?

You may have subscribed to a thread which is running a Poll.

If that is the case it updates when someone votes as well as when someone adds to the thread.

Maybe other reasons but this is one potential.
