Setting an Avatar

I have had avatars enabled for some time...but that isn't really what you are describing. An avatar is a little picture that Admin would upload to the site and make available to all. And then you pick from a list of them, sort of like picking a "smilie".

I believe you want your own "custom avatar" which would be a "picture" in your "signature". Dick has described how to get that done. Good luck ;)
