No, I didn't remove it. And I even vaguely remember a notification email coming my way saying a new post had been made in that thread. Strange, I can't explain it.

But now that you brought it to my attention I see I had placed the original thread in the wrong sub-forum. It should be in "Ian's Corner" so I have now moved it there. Please re-submit your comment.

The Post commended Lee Reed the founder of Swift Bullet Company whom Ian was indirectly writing about. It also commend Ian and wished him well as you had indicated to me he had been under the weather physically. I put Ian on the same stature as Bob Hagel, Elmer Keith, and Jim Carmichael.

I did not think anything I had written was out of line. it may have not been too kind to Bill Hobert.

If I don't speak or write to you before Christmas, you and your family have a great holiday.

I knew Ian was real sick but unaware he had passed. I am sorry to hear this news. Ian will be missed.
