Logging on/posting time limit?

I am going to have to make this short as I am not sure how much time I have, but several times I have tried to type an answer to a post, and it took me a while as the neurons between the brain and fingers don't work as well as they used to. Anyhow, after getting it all typed and hitting the "post" key, I was notified I wasn't logged in and my message was lost.

I am getting a little frustrated. What am I doing wrong?

Jim

Jim,

Log in first and remember to check the box "remember me" or something of that nature. Just in case, before you post it highlight all of it and press "Ctrl" + C on your key board to copy your writing into ram memory then click the post button.
You're not time limited, you have all the time you want or need unless your server is kicking you off line.

I have not had that problem.

Good Luck!

I don't know why I have no problems. I started a post last evening and finished it this morning with out a hitch.

Here is what vBulletin says in answer to my question:

Quote:
Hello,

Make sure they check "remember me" when logging in and this should avoid the issue.

All the best,
Zachery Woods

Yes, he's smart enough to have you coach him.

I am thinking that was the problem. So far so good.
