I am changing the forum display back to normal

I have been recognizing more and more of the screen display area when utilizing this site is being taken up/over by advertising. VERY COLORFUL LOL

The content was just starting to get a bit congested thought someone ought to know.

Publisher's Note

The changed display did not work out the way I hoped for on too many members' monitors. There are many, many different combinations of monitors, resolutions, operating systems, browsers, etc.

On my monitor the text area width was as good or better than 90% of the 23 different news sites that I have bookmarked for my own browsing.

So it should be changed back within the hour. Thanks for your patience.

Len

It's getting a little on the ridiculous side, I'm down to less than 10" of usable (LRH readable) screen. My suggestion is put it at the top or the bottom so we still have a full screen to read. I either have to make my screen read 125% to be able to still read the print, or grab my reading glasses that I use for topo maps. :^(

I have a 17" wide screen monitor and still have 1 1/2" on either side of the adds. I say fill it up (I would have put a smiley here but the "Hunting is not just a passion" add is covering them up.

Oh wait, there is another way to get them .

Well to be exact, if I don't include the ads that are attached to the right side of the actual thread content, I'm down to 7" of LRH readable stuff and thats with a 19" screen. If I wasn't so broke right now I'd suggest to Len to just let us take up a volunteer collection and donate it to the site so we could scrap the Chevy ads.
