Floating pop ups

Scorecard research internet usage surveys & Grander Mountain adds keep floating into my screen, & WON'T GO AWAY. I have to exit out of the internet, then come back to LRH later.
Really agrevating when you click on, say reloading section for example, & before you can even read a thread, these dang things float in, & blanket the screen so you can't click on the thread you want to read.
Once or twice, on occasion kinda thing, I understand, but this is really 9!$$!/1@ me off.

I access LRH from my phone. HTC Inspire, from AT&T, thru my house's WiFi (Bendbroadband is the internet provider) then I use Google to get to LRH....... Then I get a floating pop up add, & have to exit the whole thing, & come back later, in order to read on my favorite (& only) forum I bother with.

Now, my wife is one of those "looney cupon people" who'll take just about any survey out there to get 3 cents off her next purchase at Fred Meyer, or whatever it is that she does, but she does that on HER phone, tablet, & computer..... NOT Mine. Could this be part of the problem?..... I'm taking a Loooong shot here, cause we have different emails, but access internet from our home WiFi, & we share a phone plan with the same cell company......
I'm treating this like a balistics app, & giving you ALL the information, & variables, possible to get the best outcome...

Thanks in advance Mods/Len, for any help. I know you guys, (Len) are trying to work out the pickups of growing your business. I can't fault a guy for that. I'm just a lil frustrated is all.

winmag

Let's see if we can fix your life.

I have never seen what you are referring to. I certainly don't want any "popups" that you can't easily get rid of. If you're not logged in there is a new "registration" thingy that stays there but as soon as you "x" it, it's gone for the duration of your session.

Can you get me a screen print image the next time you see the things you described. That'll help me identify its source so I can request a change.

Re: Floating pop ups

I access LRH every day using my HTC Evo and never have any ads like what you describe. I also have WiFi in my home and have Charter's 100meg service. My browser is Dolphin HD. Is your browser's "User Agent" set to "Desktop"? If it isn't you might try that. I'm just guessing as I don't experience the problem you have.

Have you tried accessing the LRH site by using your wife's phone? Is her phone the same as yours?

Re: Floating pop ups

Thanks guys.
Next time I see them, ill take a pic, & email it to wherever you tell me to. I can't post pics from my phone, but I can email them.
I have no idea what a user agent or a desk top is. Wife's phone is an I phone.
