Can't delete msgs in my acct.
Stuck on soft delete I guess.
I just want em gone. Can't do it no matter how hard I try. Sorry

Only staff have the ability to permanently delete your posts. When you soft-delete a post, no one can see it except you (and staff, of course). That is the way your user group (Registered User) is set up, unless Len edits that group to change their permissions, which I would not recommend for security reasons.

I'm not concerned with security reasons on LRH.
The only personal info I have on here is how many are in my family, marital status, occupation (which changes often these days), & the town I live in. To my knowledge, this can all be deleted in my "about me" section.
Please, go ahead & erase em. I've got nothin to hide.

Maybe I don't understand. WE (Len and staff) are concerned about the security of this website and the server. We protect your security here too, but only you can control what personal information is exposed in posts and your profile. My recommendation is to never post personally identifying information in public places on the forum. If you want people to be able to contact you, use the user options feature to control who can send you PMs, email or Visitor Messages. Allowing people to email you will not expose your email address to them, unless you reply to their email.
So, what is it you are trying to delete and can't? I was referring to posts in threads here. Do you mean something different?
