Re: Your Next Rifle Will Be In Which Cartridge

Dongle,

I have A-bolts and BLR's.

I'll tell you how to fix it.

Go to Davids Tubbs website and purchase his 50 bullet break in system. If you don't re-load just ask someone to load them for you. Pickup up about 10 copper bullets for the final break in. (Many barrels are lapped and they really don't need be!) Lapping is a 2 way process and the bullet goes one way. His system will smooth it out in the right direction. It chould be dead accurate thereafter. If not, ask a good-smith why? A good one, is a shooter that has some competition and hunting experienceat least up to 600 yards.

Worst case, tell Browning, they'll make it right. And last choice have it rebarreled with a match grade barrel. Stills buy the David tubbs system for that barrel too.

Most everything you read on here about Browning is absolute ********.

And I have plenty of custom guns at $4,000 or better. Tough to beat my Brownings...

Best overall platform, dollar for dollar Browning. Why have they been around so long, Is John Browning still alive? FN sells 1/2 the guns made today.

2cents, and sensible...

Good Luck.

It's hard to beat a 300wm under a 1000 yards.

You can always tell a good cartridge if the military chooses it.

Dongle

Go A-bolt eclipse 1000 with the heavy barrel and BOSS system. You will never look back. It will be accurate or they will fix it at no charge. Secondarily, break it in properly with David Tubbs system and knowledge. Visit his website.

The basic design and quality of a Browning rifle is worth the money. They've been making rifles for quite some time...

Then build a specific load to make it more accurate for what you hunt.

That may be in good ole USA but out in the back blocks importers are very reluctant to stand by their product.

For me, if I was wanting a long range hunting rifle it would be the 6.5X284. Great ballistics, easy on the recoil, does the job on putting meat on the ground. If you hold up your end the rifle do it's job!
