Not sure if the pic will show up. My longest was a 4pt at 67yds. My biggest center wall/deer @47 yards..168-7/8" gross 161-6/8 net offical PY. The two on the sides on the left 17 yards, deer on right 42 yards. The rest are rifles kills.
I've taken 2 animals with a bow. A whitetail doe at 60yards and a 6pt buck at 4yards. I routinely practice out to 70 and 80 yards but "try" to limit my shots to 30-40 yards. My concern with long range bow hunting was the arrows time in flight. Deer are good at jumping the string so I try to get close.
As for practicing, when I was realling into bow hunting at 70 yards 5 arrows would all fit in a small hardee's coffee cup. I shot a lot. lol
High Country Force bow at 65lbs 2213 arrow and 100gr Thunderhead tips. About 280fps I think.
The title: Longest Archery Big Game Kill. Well I seen a guy stick a whitetail, and before it died it went 275 yards. So I think that would qualify for the "Longest Archery Big Game Kill." Right?
