Re: How Many Centerfire Rounds Do You Fire Per Year?

Easily over 5k, just counting .308 win. Between load development, drop validation, practice, F-T/R, and hunting it is getting a good work out as it is the only centerfire I have in fire-able condition right now. One is at the gunsmith the other is waiting for a new barrel and stock. Total probably 7000+ counting pistol and shotgun.

I voted before I started reading the posts and realized I'd forgotten trap and sporting clays. I need to add on about 13,000 rounds to the 2500 I shoot with rifle. That doesn't inclode the BB gun for birds and mice in the barn.

Re: How Many Centerfire Rounds Do You Fire Per Year?

I have already reloaded 700 since January this year getting ready for my sniper competition for the 6.5x47...My dillon is getting a serious workout!!! Not to mention for the 7mm, 338 Norma, 338 Lap, 300 Wby, 240 wby, 257 wby, and for my dad and brother also. I have reloaded everyday for the last 2 months I know for sure...Then again it beats sitting on my butt watching TV!
Nothing I would rather do...other than shooting that is

I just like to hear it go bang and see a bunch of holes really close together.

Most are shot from the annual prairie dog pilgramage to Montana. The rest is load development and long range target practice for deer season.

15,000 easy. Mostly for USPSA, ICORE, and Steel, but I still put 1000+ through the rifles.

I put over 10,000 through one gun last year. A S&W 627, I use for ICORE and Steel shoots.
