there are a few scpe manufacturers that do have a level inside, however most of them are the gimicky kind of cheap ones that use those "additions" to distract from the fact that there glass stinks and tracking is hardly repeatable.

Been there and done that. Christmas ornaments that are hung from the tree are not made to last.

What I would look for is a level that is incorporated as a part of
the scope housing. That isn't going to fall apart after the first shot.
Some scope makers can't even keep their cross hairs from disappearing.

cheap crap, don't buy it. At the same time 3000.00 is a lot of money to pay for a scope. The pay back has got to equal the investment at some point in time.
The equipment only aids the shooter in winning a money match. The shooter still has to put together the winning score.

Is that no, I don't use one?

I attached a small level that has a base that mounts to the rail.
It's visible with just a glance. and the mount is very sturdy.
It's located just under the bell on the scope and slightly to the left.

After I get set up, a quick glance at the bubble, allows me to correct
for level.

Wouldn't the error at 1000 yards be greater the higher the scope is above the boreline?
