    i definatly prefer a detachable mag for "normal" hunting but i dont think it is as necisary for LR work but thats just MO

    +1, Detachable makes it so nice to empty when getting back to the vehicle. For long range, a single shot is plenty.

    It's really an easy answer. A DM rifle allows the shooter to switch types of ammunition as in switching from a lighter bullet to a heavier partition or such. You really never know what you will be able to shoot unless it presents itself. You will then have the choice to upgrade, or downgrade depending on the target.

    Nope. If I need four or five shots to hit, then I've admited that I deserve to lose to an animal.
