New custom rifle in the next 12 months, unfortunately probably not. But someday for sure.

If it wasn't for the $$$$$$$$ issue I'd love to get a .308 and a higher power, but not sure which caliber. Was attracted to the .338LPM or 300 Win Mag ??
It's not custom but I love the Sako TRG's.

Re: Do you plan to buy a new custom rifle?

    Does building my first count?

Current plan reads like this for a lightweight medium-long range setup:

Savage action (Short or maybe target)

Pac-Nor Select Match 26" barrel in 7wsm or 7rsaum or something in that class 6 flutes on something like a pac-nor 5 or 6 contour, no brake

If funds allow a McMillan Hunters Edge ultralight stock, if not that then a Stockade of some variety.

    SSS recoil lug.
    Burris XTR rings
    EGW? 20MOA aluminum base
Leupold 4.5-14x40 VXIII with M1 knobs added...tentatively anyway.
